Summary

Whether you’ve been doing this for one year or twenty, it’s always wise to attend refresher courses. Join us as we refresh our knowledge about lawsuit initiation and calendaring. Topics of discussion will include statute of limitations, filing of a complaint, service of complaint, due dates for responsive pleadings, service of initial discovery and much more, much more. We will also discuss basic research skills, which include where to find necessary court forms and how and when to use them. Lastly, we will discuss the differences between state and federal filings and will go over basics of federal court filings and calendaring. Don’t miss out on this opportunity to test your own knowledge and pick up a new tip or two.
