This CLE presentation will cover various aspects of Medicare Secondary Payer Act (MSPA) compliance, including Medicare Set Asides (MSAs). We will examine how MSPA compliance is changing and how public benefits issues are coordinated throughout the settlement process. In addition, we will illustrate how the structured settlements process works as it relates to MSAs, explain Medicare’s impact on workers’ compensation and liability claims, and discuss best practices with regard to MSA administration.
