Summary

California’s Fair Pay Act:
• statute of limitations (general vs. willful violations)
• discovery in these types of cases
• possible filing of PAGA claims related to this violation of the labor code

Sexual Harassment:
• differences in types of sexual harassment (quid pro quo v. hostile work environment sex harassment)
• differences in liability in instances of supervisor v. coworker
• duty to investigate
• who is covered (same sex and opposite sex)
• workplace harassment that involves violence or threats of violence to persons or property may be actionable under Civ.C. §§ 51.7 and 52.1
