President Biden is announcing his intent to nominate seven individuals to federal district courts—all of whom are extraordinarily qualified, experienced, and devoted to the rule of law and our Constitution. President Biden has named Judge Williams (CA), Judge Hwang (CA), Danna Jackson (MT), Judge Netburn (NY), Stacy Neumann (ME), April Perry (IL) and Judge Valenzuela (CA). Judge Williams (CA) has been a long-time friend of CAALA and Judge Valenzuela (CA) headed the Mexican American Legal Defense and Educational Fund in Los Angeles. This will be President Biden’s forty-eighth round of nominees for federal judicial positions, bringing the number of announced federal judicial nominees to 236.
